IMA Membership is available only to those who do not have a current felony record. If you have been convicted of a felony, then you are eligible to apply for membership a minimum of one year after the satisfactory completion of the corrective actions necessitated by the felony. In such instances, please send a letter of explanation describing the circumstances of the felony conviction, provide official documentation that the corrective action/probation has been served, provide a letter of reference from your current employer/academic institution, and include a current résumé.
