Members are invited to nominate outstanding volunteers for the prestigious IMA Global Awards

Award Description

IMA Champion: The IMA Champion Award recognizes an IMA member who has demonstrated exceptional volunteerism and leadership skills that are beyond the call of duty in service to IMA consistent with IMA’s Mission and Global Core Values. Regardless of the length of service to IMA and/or IMA leadership positions held, this individual consistently will have demonstrated unselfish commitment and exceptional performance in support of our organization. This is someone who truly goes beyond what might be expected, serving as an example of volunteerism for others to follow.

Through nomination by others, an IMA Champion is an IMA member who demonstrates the following characteristics:

Embraces IMA’s Mission and Global Core Values.

Exhibits Servant Leadership by developing and inspiring others.

Promotes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by encouraging and respecting alternative points of view.

Demonstrates support for IMA, its members, and the management accounting profession.

Effectively volunteers and is highly engaged in IMA, with a strong record of positive outcomes.

Is a role model for IMA volunteers (at any level) and is highly regarded in the IMA Community.

Preferred: Holds the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) certification.
